In 2011, I learned about doula work and was instantly intrigued and knew that some day I would become a doula myself. I found the amazing benefit of having a birth doula for both of my births and a postpartum doula after the birth of my daughter. These women supported and nurtured me during the most amazing transitions in my life. In 2016, I completed my DONA approved postpartum doula training through the Simkin Center for Allied Birth Professionals at Bastyr University. Three years later, I finally felt ready to leave my administrative career and follow my passion in supporting families walking through their own unique parenting journeys. In 2019, I completed two certifications including my Postpartum Doula Certification with NAPS (Northwest Association of Postpartum Support) my Lactation Educator Certification with Evergreen Perinatal Education. I am tremendously grateful for all my life experience that has led me to this work.
I enjoy spending time with my partner and children, being in nature, belly laughing while watching stand up comedy, traveling, attending live music concerts, connecting with my friends and embracing the beauty of life. I have an eclectic taste in music, I enjoy dancing, I've seen every episode of FRIENDS (multiple times) and truly enjoy getting to know people on a deep level. Most of all, I love who I am.
